ABOUT US
I bought my first bus back in 1997 when my band, Backstreet Law, was doing a lot of touring around the east coast. We were tired of old RVs and vans so I bought a 1978 MCI for us to tour in. We put a lot of miles on that bus and I eventually sold it and purchased a 1978 Silver Eagle which had once belonged to Tanya Tucker.
I loved that Silver Eagle, and I ended up buying four more Eagles that I fixed up and sold on eBay. In 2002 an established bus company out of Nashville noticed that I was flipping a lot of buses and contacted me about sub-leasing to them, so I bought a 1997 Prevost XL and then a 1998 Prevost XL and decided to try it out.
That business deal went south after a few months and I decided to go pick up the buses and bring them back home to Wellsboro. With two bus payments and no money coming in I started hitting the internet and cold-calling every management company and band I could to try and get these buses leased out. Within two to three weeks both buses were booked on their first tours and JGM Coach was established!
Today we still operate out of my hometown of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. Our fleet of 15 buses range from early model XLIIs to late model X3s. We offer trailer rentals and have a full-service shop as well.
Having been a nationally touring musician myself, I understand what bands and management companies need and I’ve built JGM Coach to serve those needs. I feel that even though the demand for our buses is very high, owning a smaller fleet lets us pay more attention to detail and take better care of each individual client.
